Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), residing in nearly 40 different countries, have now been enabled to open account in IDBI Bank without the need for submitting paper documents/physical copies.
IDBI Bank has launched their ‘NRI-Insta-Online’account-opening process for NRIs residing in Financial Action Task Force (FATF) member countries.
The NRI individual will now not be required to furnish physical documents and KYC proofs for opening an account with the bank which could be a big relief for many.
NRIs desiring of opening account can access the ‘NRI Insta-Online’ on the bank’s website via web module and upload the required documents and choose the suitable branch in which the account is to be opened.
Once the documents have been successfully uploaded and verification of the scanned documents is completed, the account is instantly activated and an electronic advice is sent to the customer pertaining to the account.
